Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets, Phipps Plaza and Town Center at Cobb to celebrate the season with holiday activities for all!

Wednesday, October 31, 2018 — Atlanta-area Simon centers are celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with a variety of seasonal activities for families and shoppers to enjoy. Throughout November and December, Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets, Phipps Plaza and Town Center at Cobb are making spirits bright with Santa arrival celebrations, specialty photos, tree lightings, holiday blood drives and more!

Photos with Santa: November 2 – December 24
Families are invited to Macy’s Court to capture special holiday moments with the jolliest man in town – Santa Claus!   • Pet Photos with Santa: November 11 and December 9 from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
    Calling all festive, four-legged friends! On November 11 and December 9, families are welcome to bring their furry best friends for an unforgettable picture with Santa Claus in the Macy’s Court. Guests can enter the mall through the Main Mall entrance near Nike. Please refrain from bringing reptiles or exotic animals.
  • Caring Santa: December 2 from 8-10 a.m.
    Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa. Lenox Square has made necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event. The event will be held during private mall hours in the Macy’s Court in order to provide a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. Due to this, families are asked to enter the mall using the Main Mall Entrance in between Sprinkles and Nike. Guests can register in advance on Eventbrite.

Macy’s Pink Pig: November 3 – January 6
Atlanta’s most treasured holiday tradition is here! Children of all ages can once again hop aboard Priscilla the Pink Pig for a train ride through a life-sized storybook filled with friends and fun beneath the signature 170-foot, 1950’s themed Pink Pig tent. Tickets will be available at the Macy's Pink Pig kiosk located between Abercrombie & Fitch and Godiva on the Upper Level. For the full schedule, visit simon.com/lenoxsquare.

Cookies with Santa: November 9 and December 14 from noon-2 p.m.
Children and families can enjoy sweet treats next to the Santa Set on November 9 and December 14! Cookies will be provided by Great American Cookies, and La Fete Chocolat will be offering warm sips of hot coco.

Macy's Great Tree Lighting: November 18 at 7 p.m.
The 71st annual Great Tree Lighting event will take place in the heart of Lenox Square with live musical performances, entertainment and fun! The celebration will be capped off with a fantastic fireworks finale set to holiday music – a moving and memorable way to kick off the holiday season. The Great Tree will be on display November 18 – January 1.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program: November 28 – December 8
Lenox Square will host The Salvation Army for the annual Angel Tree program, which provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need. This year’s Angel Tree will be located on the Plaza Level near Urban Outfitters. Representatives will be available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Families can gather in Von Maur Court to capture the spirit of the holidays in a photo with Santa – perfect for holiday cards to send to friends and family!   • Pet Photos with Santa: November 18 from 6-8 p.m. and December 9 from 8-10 p.m.
    Looking for the paw-fect holiday photo? Guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to visit Santa’s workshop and take a photo with the jolly man in red! Shoppers are asked to use the Savvii Formal Wear entrance, as well as refrain from bringing reptiles or exotic animals.
  • Caring Santa: December 2 from 8-10:30 a.m.
    Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa. Mall of Georgia has made necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event. The event will be held during private mall hours in the Von Maur Court in order to provide a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. Due to this, families are asked to enter the mall using the Main Mall Entrance in between Belk and Von Maur. Guests can register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta.

Tree Lighting: November 17 at 3 p.m.
Mall of Georgia will make spirits bright starting at 3 p.m. in The Village for a special welcome to Santa Claus! Guests will be entertained with faux ice skating at The Rink, holiday-themed performances from a DJ, live entertainment by The Throwback Experience, the annual 50-foot Christmas tree lighting, visits from Santa and Papa Elf, a special Movie Under the Stars presentation of “The Santa Clause,” holiday activities and more! Attendees are welcome to bring chairs and blankets. Plan to come early, grab a seat, sip a cocktail and enjoy as Mall of Georgia welcomes the season with open (and warm) arms!

Red Cross Blood Drives: November 23 – 25 from noon – 5 p.m.; December 26 – 28 from noon – 5 p.m.
Mall of Georgia invites shoppers to celebrate the season of giving by donating blood! Trained Red Cross staff will collect donations from noon-5 p.m. in the Upper Level near Dick’s Sporting Goods. Visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment in advance, and enter code ‘moga’ for Mall of Georgia.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program: November 23 – December 8
Mall of Georgia will host The Salvation Army for the annual Angel Tree program, which provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need. This year’s Angel Tree will be located on the lower level near Gap. Representatives will be available Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa: December 1 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Children and families can enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, holiday activities and a story time with Santa and Papa Elf in the Dining Pavilion! This event is free for Family at Mall of Georgia members, and a recommended donation to Simon Youth Foundation of $5 for each adult is requested. Guests can sign up for Family at Mall of Georgia at the event or at Guest Services. RSVP is required and can be sent to mmr4852@simon.com. The deadline to RSVP is November 26.

Sounds of the Season: December 5 and 6 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Local community, church and school groups will put on festive holiday performances in the Dining Pavilion for shoppers to get in the spirit of the season.

Holiday Giftwrap: December 7-24
Shoppers looking to save some time to spend with family can have their gifts wrapped in JCPenney Court!

  • Pet Photos with Santa: December 9 from 7-8 p.m.
    Shoppers are invited to bring their furry friends to meet Santa and have the paw-fect holiday photo taken in the Food Pavilion. Guests are to refrain from bringing reptiles or exotic animals, and all animals in attendance should be leashed.  

4 The Love of Piano Performances: December 9 from noon – 4:30 p.m.
Guests can get in the holiday spirit by listening to local music school group perform holiday favorites inside the gazebo.

Children are invited to take pictures and share their wish lists with Ole’ Saint Nick this holiday season! Reservations for Santa photos are only available at santaatphipps.com.

Sounds of the Season/Holiday Community Day: December 8 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
As part of Phipps Plaza’s Ninth Annual Holiday Community Day, families are welcome to celebrate the season with a day of live entertainment from local Atlanta organizations in Monarch Court.

Santa Arrival Celebration: November 2 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Santa and his reindeer will arrive at Town Center at Cobb for the annual Santa Arrival Celebration! Shoppers can gather outside the Food Court Main Entrance (between Belk and JCPenney) at 6 p.m. to welcome Saint Nick with a festive parade of reindeer, stilt walkers and a magical snowfall. Guests can also look forward to face painting, activities, giveaways and more! Photos will be available from 6-9 p.m. in Center Court for all wishing to visit Santa and the first 200 people to visit with Kris Kringle will receive a special gift. In addition, shoppers can stop for a photo opportunity with his trusty reindeer outside of the mall. This event is sponsored WellStar Pediatrics, Adventure Air, National Guard and Peach Pass.

Photos with Santa: November 2 – December 24
Say “sleigh bells” and smile with Santa! He will be stationed in Center Court for photo opportunities. Check simon.com/towncenteratcobb for his schedule!     On November 25 and December 9 in Center Court, shoppers can bring their beloved furry friends to pose with Santa Claus! Guests are to refrain from bringing reptiles or exotic animals and should enter the mall through the Food Court’s main entrance between Belk and JCPenney.
  • Caring Santa: November 18 from 10 a.m.-noon and December 2 from 9-11 a.m.
    Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to visit Santa and have their photos taken. Town Center at Cobb will make necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event. Both events will be held on the Santa Set. Register online at Eventbrite to attend.

Marcus Autism Center Quiet Shopping Hour: November 18 from noon-1 p.m.
Town Center at Cobb will be hosting a “quiet hour” with the Marcus Autism Center for families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder on Sunday, November 18 from noon-1 p.m. At participating stores, dimmed lights, muted music and smaller crowds will give shoppers with Autism Spectrum Disorder a more comfortable shopping experience. This immediately follows the Caring Santa event from 10 a.m. – noon.

PJ Party with Santa/Disney Jr. Event: December 8 from 1-3 p.m.
‘Tis the season to cozy up in your favorite PJs! Town Center at Cobb’s PJ Party welcomes all kids on the nice list to enjoy activities, games and giveaways. There will be a special appearance from Santa himself to read a story to the good boys and girls! The PJ Party will be held on the Upper Level JCPenney Wing.
